“Eid Al-Adha 10” Campaign
Al-Adha Without forgetting.
An annual campaign, based on four projects, implemented by the Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association.
Every year, with the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Adha and its sublime meanings.
This campaign embodies the glorification of God Almighty’s rituals and shows the whole world the extent of Muslims’ mercy toward one another.
And their interdependence and solidarity in these blessed days, as the number of beneficiaries reached (17360) beneficiaries in the past year.
Eid al-Adha campaign10 Launched by the Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of the weak and poor Syrians among our displaced people in the north of Syria or the refugees in the camps of Lebanon.
The campaign also aims to highlight the need to remember the needy among our displaced people in the north of Syria and the refugees in Lebanon who need support to continue.
Eid al-Adha campaign10 without forgetting. It affirms that we are in Ghiras Al-Khair; we have not forgotten our poor people, orphans, widows, detainees, and martyrs, especially the less fortunate poor families and children who have been deprived of many meanings of this occasion by the war, which lasted more than 10 years, as Eid in Islam means joy in its highest sense.
In confirmation of God’s saying {قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُواْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَِ} [يونس: 58]
The “Eid al-Adha 10” campaign is divided into four charitable projects:
1- Iftar project on the day of Arafah: The Iftar fasting project is the first project implemented by Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association within the “Al-Adha Campaign”. Iftar meals for our vulnerable Syrian brothers in displacement camps and countries of asylum.
2- Eid clothing project: In the second phase of the Al-Adha campaign comes the (Eid Clothing) project, which targets deprived orphans. These poor and needy children live with their families in camps and suffer from difficult economic conditions.
3- The sacrifice project: It is the most prominent project within the annual Al-Adha campaign, as preparation for the project begins by the Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association one month before Eid Al-Adha every year, and the actual implementation takes place with the advent of the Day of Sacrifice (sacrifice), due to the greatness of the status of this great ritual and its role in consolidating the bonds of love in Islamic society and the establishment of the principle of solidarity in it. The preparation and implementation of this project includes several stages of conducting a tender for the prices of sacrifices according to the rules, and examining them by a veterinarian to ensure the legal conditions that must be met in the sacrifice to be suitable for slaughter, and identifying the slaughterhouses and slaughter workshops approved for the implementation of the project, then slaughtering the sacrifices and dividing them as rations to be distributed to the residents of the camps and the poor. And those in need after obtaining the nominal lists from the competent authorities in each region.
4—Al-Adha project (cash sums) for each person: Eid al-Adha is the fourth and final project implemented by the Ghiras al-Khair Humanitarian Association within the al-Adha campaign. It involves distributing cash as gifts to poor children to make them happy and bring joy into their hearts.
Where the team of (Al-Khair Humanitarian Association) puts small sums of money in paper envelopes and then distributes them to the poor children scattered on the roads and streets, these projects left great positive effects by drawing joy in the hearts of the beneficiaries, easing the economic burden on many parents who were burdened by the high cost of living, consolidating the principles of brotherhood and social solidarity among Muslims, and making them feel that they have brothers who carry their concern and stand by them in good times and bad.
