Today, Monday, 19_09-2022, Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association opened Aisha Um Al-Mu'minin School in the village of Balad Al-Khair, Kuwait, in the Azaz area of the northern countryside of Aleppo, which includes a gathering of displaced people from different regions of Syria. The opening of the school was attended by the Executive Director of the Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association, Mr. Abbas Shams Al-Din, and the teaching staff of the school, in addition to several figures from civil and local society in the region. The school includes 7 classrooms, two management rooms and service facilities, which are scheduled to accommodate approximately 200 students for the primary stage (primary from first to sixth grade). The importance of the school lies in the fact that it is located in an area inhabited by displaced people who suffer from the lack of nearby schools for their children, which forces them to pay transportation expenses that are often not available to them, as the school will contribute to receiving these children and reduce their dropout rate from school as well as reduce the economic burdens on their families.
